Programme Structure
Under the Lenovo Buy&Try Programme (the "Programme"), Participants may qualify with the purchase of an Eligible Lenovo Product buy and test the product with the possibility to return it.
The Participant may obtain a full refund (subject to conditions) if they conclude the purchased Eligible Product does not satisfy their requirements during forty five (45) calendar days after purchase date.
Programme Period
June 17th 2022 to March 31st 2023
Eligible Participants
Eligible Participants are business end-user customers only (companies / public sector without VAT ID or with VAT exempt turnover (incl. schools/universities/NPOs/government) or companies / public sector with VAT ID and VAT taxable turnover). Only eligible Participants may claim a refund and receive the refund.
Resellers or distributors may not submit claims including claims on behalf of their customers.
Eligible Products
Eligible Product is the new Lenovo ThinkSmart Core Kits (eligible part numbers: 11LR0002xx - Core + Controller_MTR, 11S30003xx - Core Full Room Kit_MTR, 11LT0002xx - Core + Controller_Zoom, 11S50003xx - Core Full Room Kit_Zoom), the Lenovo Google Meet Series one (all part numbers are eligible), the new Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub (all part numbers are eligible), the new Lenovo ThinkSmart Bar (all part numbers are eligible), the new Lenovo ThinkSmart Bar XL (all part numbers are eligible) and the new Lenovo ThinkSmart Cam (all part numbers are eligible). Demonstration and evaluation products as well as remarketing or used products are excluded from the Programme.
The Programme is valid in respect of Eligible Products purchased between June 17th 2022 to March 31st 2023 from Lenovo reseller or retailer in Lithuania or/and on
If a Lenovo Product is resold or rented to a third party, it is not an Eligible Product.
The Participant may participate once for each Lenovo Qualifying Product (once per eligible model number) during the Programme Period.

Payment will be performed by TechProtect GmbH, Max-Eyth-Straße 35, 71088 Holzgerlingen, Sitz der Gesellschaft: Holzgerlingen, Amtsgericht Stuttgart HRB 245394 on behalf of Lenovo by electronic bank transfer within forty five (45) calendar days after receipt of the Lenovo Products at the auditing center and only to the company name shown on the invoice supplied. Payments shall not be made to affiliates or related companies. Payments cannot be made to individuals. Neither Lenovo nor the TechProtect GmbH is responsible for any bank or other charges whatsoever incurred by eligible customer in relation to cashback payments. Payments will only be executed in €.
Programme rules and requirements
The Programme is available in Lithuania. To become a Participant an end user customer must accept these Programme Terms and Conditions during the registration process on the Programme website
Only Lenovo products purchased in the same country are the Participant’s registered address are eligible.
This Programme may be combined with Lenovo Special Bids.
Lenovo reserves the right to reject customers from participating in the Programme, where other Lenovo promotional offers or special pricing agreements have been already offered.
The purchase price listed on the invoice will be paid, but no more than the non-binding Lenovo recommended price at the time of sale. Lenovo will only pay this amount. Other hardware, software and services are excluded from the reimbursement.
Other costs are not reimbursed by and cannot be claimed from Lenovo.
The Lenovo Product must be returned complete and undamaged in the original packaging and with all original accessories included at time of purchase of the Lenovo Product (such as but not limited to other detachable parts, manuals, network adapter, CDs, cables, power supplies, monitors, keyboards, mice, graphic cards, etc.). Lenovo only accepts complete and undamaged returns in the original packaging. No refund is made without the original packaging.
Incomplete or damaged returns may not or may only be partially refunded at Lenovo’s sole discretion.
Lenovo Products returned to Lenovo must not be contaminated with biological, chemical or radioactive materials.
The Lenovo Product(s) for return must be located within the country the Participant registered to the Programme.
Some remote geographical or non-mainland locations may not be supportable. Contact for further information.
Ownership and title to the Lenovo Product(s) transfers to Lenovo upon handover of the product to the designated Lenovo auditing center. Participant must ensure that the Lenovo product is free and clear from all liens and encumbrances.
The Lenovo Product(s) defined in the web registration under the Programme must be returned to Lenovo to qualify. After receipt in Lenovo's handling house, no Lenovo Product(s) (including accessories) can be returned again to the Participant. These Lenovo Product(s) remain the property of Lenovo.
The Lenovo Product(s) must match the details provided during the registration process. If they do not match, Lenovo reserves the right not to pay any refund or to debit the difference between the stated and actually received Lenovo Product when the refund value is less.
Programme Steps and Timing
1. The Participant purchases an eligible Lenovo Product.
2. The Participant registers at the latest twenty-one (21) days after the purchase date of the Eligible Product on the web site under
3. The Participants receives a registration confirmation e-mail including a personal deep link.
4. The Participants tests his Lenovo Product for up to forty-five (45) days from purchase date.
5. If the Participant wishes to return his Lenovo Product, he can request to return it by clicking the deep link in the registration confirmation e-mail.
6. The Participant completes the registration form with full details (bank details, pickup address, upload of the proof of purchase).
The proof of purchase must contain the following information:
- Name and address of the end-user customer.
- Name and address of the Lenovo reseller, in accordance with the statement on the letterhead.
- Model and serial number of the Lenovo Product.
7. The Participant receives an e-mail to confirm that return process has been finalized successfully.
8. The Participant request will be checked and if all mandatory information has not been provided, they will be notified via e-mail and offered the opportunity to provide the missing information within seven (7) calendar days. If the Participant still fails to comply with the terms and conditions, the request will be rejected.
9. Once the request has been verified as satisfactory the Participant receives a further e-mail confirming the request has been validated. It contains details regarding the logistics process and a returns label. The return label must be attached to the outside of the box and should be easily accessible even when the box is stacked on a pallet. It is recommended to secure the return label with transparent adhesive tape. Furthermore, a printout of this confirmation mail should be enclosed in the box of the device to be sent in order to ensure a smooth assignment of the order. The packaged and authorized device can be returned to a local post office if the total weight of thirty kilograms (30 kg) is not exceeded.
If the actual total weight exceeds the restrictions in the confirmation e-mail, the customer should contact Lenovo to arrange for the equipment to be picked up (
The period between acceptance of the request to return and the readiness for shipment of the Lenovo Product must not exceed thirty (30) calendar days.
10. Lenovo bears the shipment costs. If a product other than that stated in the web registration has been returned to the test center, Lenovo is entitled to charge the participant the incurred costs for the return.
11. Once the Lenovo Product is received in the auditing center, it will be reviewed to verify it is complete and undamaged.
12. After successfully verification, the full purchase price is paid by Lenovo to the Participant. The payment will be made by electronic bank transfer within forty-five (45) calendar days after receipt of the Lenovo Product at the auditing center. Payment can only be made to a bank account within the country where the Participant registered for the Programme.
Invoicing for reimbursement
This Programme requires the acceptance of a self-billing invoice by the Participant. To ensure consistent and valid invoicing Lenovo creates a proposed self-billing invoice on behalf of the Participant and sends it to the Participant for acceptance.
The proposed self-billing invoice must be accepted by the Participant within seven (7) working days of date. Once accepted, Lenovo will pay within twenty (20) working days. Lenovo will issue a final corresponding invoice under these Terms and Conditions.
Failure to send a valid acceptance of the proposed self-billing invoice will result in the claim being rejected and invalidates the participation in the Programme.

Lenovo reserves the right to disqualify incomplete, altered or illegible claims.
Participants proved to have entered fraudulent claims will be excluded. Lenovo reserves the right to take any relevant legal action.
In addition to the invoice for the purchased Lenovo Product, Lenovo reserves the right to request from the Participant further evidence of purchase and/or ownership (e.g. photo of the serial number label, barcodes).
Lenovo reserves the right to audit all requests to ensure that the terms and conditions of this Programme have been met and to request additional information regarding any and all claims and supporting documents.
In the event of incorrect payments resulting in an overpayment by Lenovo the Participant shall repay any such incorrect payment not later than twenty-eight (28) days after receipt of written notice from Lenovo.
The Participant agrees to hold Lenovo free from the responsibility of any liability, claims, damages and tax liabilities that might arise in such circumstances. All tax liability lies with the Participant where the payment constitutes a taxable benefit.
Lenovo is not responsible or liable for any technical, hardware, software, server, website, or other failures or damage of any kind to the extent that this prevents the Participant from or otherwise obstructs him/her in participating in the Programme.
Lenovo shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused to Participants pursuant to this Programme. However, nothing in these terms shall act so as to exclude or restrict Lenovo’s liability for death or personal injury of Participants proven to be caused by Lenovo’s negligence.
Lenovo reserves the right to amend the terms of or cancel this Programme at any time without notice.
Payment will be made based on Lenovo’s sole discretion n that the Participant has fully complied with these terms and conditions and the associated instructions.
The decisions of Lenovo in respect of any and all aspects of the Programme will be final and binding.
This Programme is subject to the laws of the country the Participant registered to the Programme. In case of dispute, the courts of the locale of the Promoter will have jurisdiction.
All tax liability lies with the Participant where the payment constitutes a taxable benefit.
