Terms and Conditions - Lenovo Accessory For Free Promotion
 
The Lenovo Accessory For Free Promotion (the “Promotion”) allows Qualifying Customers who are business end-user customers only (companies / public sector without VAT ID or with VAT exempt turnover (incl. schools/universities/NPOs/government) or companies / public sector with VAT ID and VAT taxable turnover) with a legal presence and physical residence in United Kingdom (“Participant”) to obtain an accessory, a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet Sleeve, free of charge (“AFF”) provided certain criteria are met.
An AFF can be obtained for Qualifying Product(s) bought during the Promotional Period. Details of Promotional Periods and Qualifying Products are published on www.lenovo-promotions.com (“the Promotional Website").
Qualifying Product is the ThinkPad X1 Tablet (eligible part number: 20GG002AUK) that has to be bought in order to receive the ThinkPad X1 Tablet Sleeve for free (part number of the sleeve : 4X40M57117).
Qualifying Product must have been bought from a Lenovo reseller located in the United Kingdom or/and on lenovo.com between October 1st 2017 and December 31st 2018. End User customer must have a valid invoice or valid VAT receipt from the reseller as proof of purchase.
 
Resellers and distributors may not register for this Promotion on behalf of their customers or intermediaries. Resellers and distributors of Lenovo products may not participate in this Promotion.
The Promotion is only open to business end-user customers. Each participant may apply for AFF (Accessory For Free) up to a maximum of thirty (30) Qualifying Products during the Promotional Period.
Each Participant may claim for AFF within a maximum of thirty (30) days of their purchase from a Reseller of Qualifying Products during the Promotional Period.
The Participant must register their purchase and complete the Claim Form on the Promotional Invalid, incomplete or claims which are not placed within 30 days of purchase will be rejected.
The invoice or other valid VAT receipt must show the Qualifying Products and the date of purchase.
Participants must not send the original invoice / receipts, as these will not be returned. Proof of shipment or purchase is not evidence to claim under the Promotion.
Claim Forms must be submitted following the instructions on the Promotion Website. The Participant will receive confirmation of receipt of the Claim Form by email („Confirmation email“) from Lenovo stating whether or not the claim for AFF has been successful.
 
Participants who submit an incomplete Claim Form will be notified via email and requested to provide the required items within seven (7) days. If the Participant still fails to comply with the terms and conditions and provide the details requested, the claim will be rejected.
It is the Participant’s responsibility to contact the agent using the email address below within seven (7) days of their claim being sent if an email acknowledgement has not been received.
AFF will be shipped by by TechProtect GmbH, Max-Eyth-Straße 35, 71088 Holzgerlingen, Sitz der Gesellschaft: Holzgerlingen, Amtsgericht Stuttgart HRB 245394 on behalf of Lenovo within fifty-six (56) calendar days of the Confirmation email. Shipments will only to the company name shown on the invoice supplied. Requests for shipment to recipients or addresses will be rejected.
All instructions form part of these terms and conditions. By completing the Claim Form Participants confirm their acceptance of these terms and conditions.
AFF will not be shipped Participants who: a) have not purchased a Qualifying Product within the Promotional Period; and/or b) have not completed the Claim Form; and/or c) have not submitted all documents required for participation; and/or d) has not submitted their Claim Form within thirty (30) days of the invoice; and/or e) revoked the purchase contract for the product; and/or f) has failed in any way to comply with these terms and conditions.

This Promotion is not open to employees of Lenovo, their agents, distributors, resellers, retail staff, retailers, or anyone connected with the Promotion.
Claims where the Qualifying Products purchased will be resold or rented to a third party, purchases under Lenovo Special Bids and purchases of refurbished or reconditioned Lenovo computers are not eligible for this Promotion.
This Promotion may not be combined with other promotions, programmes or offers from Lenovo except where other promotions, programmes or offers provide for this in their terms and conditions.
Lenovo reserves the right to disqualify incomplete, altered or illegible claims. No responsibility will be accepted for submissions which have been lost, or are late, damaged, misdirected, delayed in the post or insufficiently pre-stamped. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of delivery.
Lenovo is not responsible or liable for any technical, hardware, software, server, website, or other failures or damage of any kind to the extent that this prevents the participant from, or otherwise obstructs him/her in participating in the promotion.
Lenovo reserves the right to audit all requests to ensure that the terms and conditions of the promotion have been met and to request additional information regarding any and all claims and supporting documents.
All documentation submitted for this Promotion becomes property of Lenovo and will not be returned. Submission of false, incorrect, misleading or fraudulent documentation may result in disqualification from this promotion and future Lenovo promotions and may result in the submitter being subject to prosecution.
Lenovo reserves the right to monitor, review, retain and/or disclose as necessary information to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request.
By entering the Promotion, participants will be deemed to have read Lenovo’s privacy policy to be found at www.lenovo.com.
Lenovo will not pass the Participant’s details to any other organization without their permission except for the agent handling the Promotion on behalf of Lenovo
AFF is not transferable and no alternative accessory or cash alternative is available.
Lenovo may declare this Promotion to be void where it is taxed, regulated, prohibited or restricted by applicable law.
The decisions of Lenovo in respect of any and all aspects of the Promotion will be final and binding.
Lenovo reserves the right to change, amend the Promotions at any time and without prior announcement.
Lenovo will send the terms and conditions of this promotion to any person requesting them free of charge.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the country in which the Participant joins the Promotion.
